I received a lot of emails from people who have problems to download rapidshare links. I checked today myself, i've tried to download few singles from my blog and it seems that rapidshare files can be downloaded only by people who have premium accounts. That sucks because all my files are uploaded to rapidshare and links are useless for people who don't have premium accounts.
From now i'm moving to mediafire but only temporarily, until rapidshare start again to allow free downloads. First post The High "The Best Of The High", great band from Manchester, founded in 1989 by guitarist Andy Couzens (one of the founder members of The Stone Roses), vocalist John Matthews, bassist Simon Davies and drummer Chris Goodwin who was playing in the very early incarnations of The Stone Roses.

It's not quite that bad, but it's close: outside peak times it still seems fairly easy to download with a free account. At peak times, however, i.e. in the evenings, although you can still download with a free account in theory in practice you will have to retry many times before you get lucky and don't get the 'no free slots' message. So rapidshare isn't a problem - unless people don't want to spend an hour or more working on getting the download to start!

Firstly, thanks for your site, it is truly awesome.
That said, I've found rapidshare annoying as hell, but you can get to the files eventually (as long as you're not sharing an IP with a building full of people, which ruins everything). That said, this new host seems much better, so if it's not too much trouble for you, I'd say stick with them.
